Allen "B HOTT" Watts - CEO
Entrepreneur, Photographer, and Designer, B HOTT was born and raised in Richmond, VA. He broke into the music scene as the lead street team promoter for DJ Rerok at OK Kid Entertainment. During this time, he worked on two Skillz releases; ‘The Best of Skillz Mixtape' and ‘The James Brown Collection', as well as various other projects for artists like Born Unique, Nickelus F and The Ranjahz.
While completing his education at VCU, B HOTT created Smooth Dirty Productions as an imprint to release the 2 Up 2 Down compilations under. 2 Up 2 Down brings artists like Trey Songz, Skillz, Nickelus F, Big Sty, Kleph Dollaz, Lonnie B and many more together on the same album. Each year, another volume of 2 Up 2 Down is released with great response and it has become the standard when it comes to representing Virginia with Hip Hop and RnB music.
After seeing the success of 2 Up 2 Down, B HOTT began recruiting his own team of management and artists to push through the industry. With recording and photography studios in Hopewell and Richmond, as well as a stable of producers, dj’s and artists, he has positioned Smooth Dirty Productions to stay on top of VA hip hop for years to come. With continued hard work and dedication coupled with his passion for new music, B HOTT is aiming to put VA’s talent on the map for the world to hear.
8th Cranial - PRODUCER - ENGINEER
When it comes to that Smooth Dirty Sound, 8th Cranial aka DJ Zenz has been perfecting it for years. From his days as one of Richmond's premier battle DJ's, to honing his engineering and production skills under the tutelage of Dox One at Da Spot Recording Studios, 8th Cranial has prepared himself for an all out assault on the music industry. Working with artists such as; Nickelus F, Joe Tann, Shiloh, Octavion Xcellence, Fair and Radio B, he's shown versatility on the boards as well. Both RnB artists and Emcees love the Smooth Dirty Sound. In addition to the depth of his hip hop and r&b catalog, he's now working at developing movie scores and soundtracks. DJ Barnacles - DJ - PHOTOGRAPHER
It's central VA's Hip Hop junky DJ Barnacles. Barnacles has been spinning and cutting since 1999 and has just completed his 6th year of hosting his radio show, In The Groove. Compiling 6 years in radio and 9 as DJ for clubs, house parties, mix tapes, battles and post production, Barnacles brings a very meticulous ear and unquestionable hip hop vision. He has performed at venues from Manhattan to D.C. and back to Richmond, even performing back to back years at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Along with his performances and radio hosting duties, he has released several of his own mix tapes; Tracks To Eat People To Volumes 1-4, Brass Monkey Lounge, Ragooom, and he's also been the DJ to introduce us to 2 Up 2 Down Vol 2 & 3. He has recently added to his repertoire photography and graphic design. Coupling all these abilities with his proven track record, DJ Barnacles will continue to propel Smooth Dirty to the top.
DJ Smirnoff Ice - DJ
DJ-Smirnoff-Ice! (aka Da Mixtape King!) is a DJ, Webmaster, Promotions Director and the Assistant Music Director at WODU Radio. He graduated from T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, VA and now attends Old Dominion University. DJ-Smirnoff-Ice! plans to Major in Communications and Minor in Graphic Design.
Since the age of 6, he has had a passion for the Hip Hop and Rap Industry. Some of his favorite artists include Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Naz, Eminiem, T.I., 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss and many others. His DJ-influences include, DJ Vlad, DJ Green Lantern, DJ Skee, DJ Drama, and DJ Whoo Kid.
DJ-Smirnoff-Ice! has interned with West-Coast Mixtape King DJ Vlad, and has worked with talented record producers and beat-makers. Not only is he experienced in Graphic Design, but he has had a taste of editing, cutting, blending, and chopping songs together. He also has collaborated with G-Unit/Interscope records--finding them highly talented producers and song writers. He also works for Atlantic Records & Def Jam Records as a college promoter. DJ-Smirnoff-Ice! is also signed to an Independent Record Label, Smooth Dirty Productions as a performance DJ. Last but not least, he DJ's the Mens/Women's basketball game at the Ted Constant Center! Smirnoff is looking forward to setting a mark in the radio and hip hop industry by dropping mixtapes, producing beats, directing music videos, and collaborating with multi-talented artists who drastically want to re-define the world of Hip Hop.

All coming from different suburban backgrounds these young artists have what it takes to make there presence felt. These 3 artists have decided to form this group completely with creativity in mind. They wanted to created a sound that represented there common background and experiences. Coming from the suburbs, it is not easy to gain respect in a rap game that has been geared toward the less fortunate. They urge you to understand that rap music is music for poor people, made by poor people and everyone doesn't have to claim they are driving an expensive car, for them to generate a sense of presence in music.
